Well hello there! Welcome to my website. A little about me... First and foremost, I love acting. I've loved the art of acting for as long as I can remember. It's a true passion and a craft I take quite seriously. I don't take myself seriously, but the acting? Let's just say I put on my big boy pants for that. I'm originally from Michigan and received a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Michigan-Flint. I'm from a large and very creative family, 6 of 7 to be precise, and amazingly my parents' sanity is still in tact (debatable). Yes, I love being part of a big family. No, we are not Catholic. A few other things about me... Despite taking French in school I'm fluent in sarcasm, love Shakespeare and may well be Roger Federer's biggest fan. I also enjoy a multitude of sports, history, writing, fitness, piano, video games, tech, Monty Python, a well timed joke, a good pun, a cold IPA, run on sentences and fancy a frolic when I'm feeling extra sassy... Oh, and I'm pretty sure I'm the world's greatest croquet player (arguable). What can I say? It's a gift.
I recently finished a week long run at Theatre Row reprising the role of King Louis XV in the new play "Pompa Pompa!" written by Brendan Connellan. A dark comedy based on actual historical figures (a few made up) and derived from mostly historical facts (liberties were taken). Period dress, heightened language and a contemporary edge made it a unique show to be a part of. It was a pleasure to work along side Brendan again to remount this hilarious play with a brand new cast.
I'm also currently working on the first of a few voice-over demo's at the Edge Studio here in NY.
Stay tuned for more media as well as upcoming shows...
